The Russian Embassy have been trolling British Prime Minister Theresa May with the Pepe the Frog meme.

Just when you thought politics around the world was crazy enough already, it’s just got a little bit worse. Theresa May was on the receiving end of some strange activity indeed. The Matt Furie character was involved in tweets aimed towards the pm.

It was recently branded as a hate symbol with links to the alt-right, but the Russian Embassy seems to have ignored those links.

Like, this actually happened. On this professional level such as this, some things just really shouldn’t be allowed. Have a look at the actual tweet:

Just have a look at that face. The words seem intimidating enough, but the meme just puts the icing on the cake.

Poor Theresa May must have been slightly embarrassed, if not confused.
