Before renting an apartment, house, car, etcetera, people usually take a look. People want to make sure everything is all nice and good: it fits what they are looking for. Unfortunately due to the coronavirus, that isn’t as easy to do. That’s a big reason why a Brighton man unknowingly rent a house covered in murals dedicated to The Simpsons.

Fortunately, the man responsible for renting the home, Charles Lucas-Smith, says that the murals are right up his alley.

“Luckily, it’s right up my street at the end of the day and something I find really funny, and I’ve always been a massive fan of The Simpsons”, Lucas-Smith said.

Funny enough, this isn’t the only character-themed house in Brighton. Apparently there are also Family Guy, Adventure Time, and Rick and Morty themed homes as well.

What do you think? Do you think you would be willing to stay in a Simpson’s house after being unaware that it looked like it did? Personally, I would love to.

I mean, what a conversation starter. You could tell the story about how you are a person living in the home with cartoon characters scribbled on its siding because you couldn’t break quarantine. That could be your party story for the rest of your life!

Now it’s up to you to decide if a party story would be worth living in a “cartoon house”, but, as I said, I would do it.

Why not? If the inside of the home is nice and fits what you were looking for, are you really going to pass on the place because of what it looks like? I guess I get it, but at the end of the day, it’s what’s on the inside that counts.
