A fan of the fast-food franchise reveals the secret recipe for obtaining the Chicken Mac.
The global fast food franchise, McDonald’s, is known for offering special off-menu meals in various locations over the world, but a delight that isn’t offered in the UK is the Chicken Mac. Luckily, a devoted customer found a way to compose this missing food item to appease all McLovin needs.
In India, the spicy paneer wrap is on sale; in Indonesia, fried chicken with egg and rice is served; in the Dominican Republic, restaurant-goers are offered the Chicken Mac – just like the Big Mac but with two patties of breaded fried chicken instead of beef. Mouth-watering, I know. And here’s exactly how you can have your own taste.
Although it is not offered in the UK, Reddit user Craig devised a way to compose your own Chicken Mac to satisfy those cravings. It’ll even cost less than a Big Mac!
The hack requires you to buy two chicken mayo sandwiches, with a slice of cheese in each. Then, remove one of the top buns of the sandwiches and place them on top of each other and voila – behold your exquisite Chicken Mac!

The two chicken mayo sandwiches should hold you at £1.19 each, which altogether is less than the £3.19 Big Mac.
McDonald’s have previously sold the Chicken Mac in such nations as the Netherlands, New Zealand and Australia at £3.79 each, but reveal claims tha they are not planning to introduce it to restaurants in the UK anytime soon.
So get stacking those burgers, and dive in to the glorious chicken creation! What are you waiting for to try it?
