People will do anything to be popular in high school and Homecoming is the ultimate popularity contest. I remember I wasn’t too popular in high school but interestingly enough I found my name on the ballot. It was between me and Ms. High School Sweetheart- wonderful girl; and next to my stupid ass she was a shoo-in. For the life of me I couldn’t imagine why there would be enough votes for me to warrant a head to head showdown with Ms. Best Class Couple. High schoolers can be mean- bottom line. It was all a joke but I was happy enough that people in my grade knew my name to tangibly put it on a ballot.
I can understand why a 17 girl in Hartford High School Michigan would try to add a little gift to the football team with her ballot buttons. Cops say that there was 12 brownies and they only turned up 3 of them. It wouldn’t be hard to spot the ones who partook in the hash filled confections. Just ask the footballers to attempt to throw a ball and those who could throw it without stating how soft the ball is would pass.
This girl is unnamed and her mother took her over state lines so they cannot continue the investigation. That’s not odd- leaving in the middle of the school year over state lines? Just a normal girls trip, right? It is reported that Officer Michael Prince said the following, “The school [is] taking this very seriously. They are doing their own investigation, and they’re just starting to turn over some of the statements from the students possibly involved or witnesses.”
When she gets back she better win by a landslide- she’s cool in my book for sure. If you want more cop stories, look at this one where an ex-undercover cop explains what it’s like to be undercover.
