An up and coming Youtube channel, UnwantedCommercials, has gone viral this week after creating a minute long sales pitch for the broken jacuzzi, and you really need to see it.
The second hand hot tub was advertised on the site by a property buyer who found it in the garden of his new house. He claims that he has ‘no idea what it needs’, and shares a photo of the mechanics inside. Which we have to admit look past their best.
The creators of the Youtube site explained how they came across the advert and made the video to help him make a sale. A channel rep said:
“My buddy and I saw a broken hot tub that a stranger in Minnesota is selling on Craigslist for $30. We randomly made and sent him this commercial to help him sell it. He’s currently ignoring all of our outreach. I don’t know why.”

Yeah, after watching the video we can’t think why the seller wasn’t asking to include the commercial in his original ad.
But even if he wasn’t over the moon with the joke, it seems other people are.
Viewers have been commenting on the post to share their delight in the hilarious video, with one claiming: “If I lived in Minnesota I’d buy it!”
It has racked up almost 3,000 comments so far on Reddit and over 450,000 views on Youtube, with people calling for more of the unwanted commercials.
The men behind the channel have said that they are trying to make at least one a week, much to the delight of their girlfriends who they claim wanted them to get into reading during isolation. We think this is a much better use of time.
