The book that claims to undermine the entire Trump presidency, Fire and Fury, is set to be made into a television series.
The rights have been sold for seven figures to Endeavour Content according to Hollywood Reporter.
Mr. Wolff, author of Fire and Fury, will act as executive producer in partnership with Michael Jackson, former Controller of BBC One and BBC Two.
Wolff was permitted access to The White House for seven months, on the understanding that he would write a book about his experiences.
Trump clearly did not bank on such a catastrophic result. He has since tried to dismiss the book as “boring and untruthful.”
Citing Trump’s ex-advisor Steve Bannon as a source, Wolff reveals that the general view held in the White House is that Trump is unfit for office.
Trump’s retort to this claim was to cite his own achievements and declare himself “a very stable genius.”
Wolff says that Trump’s absurd responses only prove the point of the book.
“I think one of the interesting effects of the book so far is a very clear emperor-has-no-clothes effect,” Mr. Wolff remarked to BBC Radio 4.
The other incredible claim of Wolff’s book is that Trump had no expectation or aspiration to achieve the office of President.
“Shortly after 8pm on Election Night… there was, in the space of little more than an hour, in Steve Bannon’s not unamused observation, a befuddled Trump morphing into a disbelieving Trump and then into a horrified Trump.
“But still to come was the final transformation: Suddenly, Donald Trump became a man who believed that he deserved to be, and was wholly capable of being, the president of the United States.”

Wolff claims to have known Trump for 20 years. He told Channel 4, “He is still the same old Donald Trump, but now he is the president of the United States, and I think we are all still coming to terms with what that means.”
Vanity Fair reported a speech Wolff gave at a recent book launch party, explaining how he got such an inside scoop on the White House:
“You were kind of a pathetic person; whatever appointment you had, nobody was keeping it. I was the guy that you could keep waiting for, like, the whole day! And it was only over time that I started to realize that I was the most non-threatening person in the Trump universe. And as a result, everybody treated me like someone they could talk to.”
A television series on all that Wolff experienced can only infuriate the President and popularise Wolff’s account even more. The Emperor has indeed got no clothes on, and it is not a pretty sight.
