Wedding Season is a new Netflix rom-com about to be released later this week. Why should someone watch it?

Read on to find out why…

Firstly, the film has a tried-and-true premise that we know one can’t get enough of – “the pretend-lovers-turned-to-true-lovers trope!”

“Pressured by their parents to find spouses, Asha and Ravi pretend to date in order to survive a summer of weddings— but find themselves falling for each other as they struggle to balance who they are with who their parents want them to be.”

Along with the super-cute synopsis, the Wedding Season is also another reason why we are missing out on this 2022 title is a no-no.

Tom and Jerry star Pallavi Sharda is playing as Asha, the female lead in Wedding Season. Asha is a character who is always booked and active. At first glance, her ongoing lifestyle appears pretty fulfilling; however, deep down, she realizes that she’s craving something more like love.

With Pallavi Sharda, a Life of Pi actor, Suraj Sharma, will also play Ravi as the male lead. Ravi is the exact opposite of Asha, as he likes to keep it chill and run with the flow. When he comes to know about this hard worker character, he teaches her a thing or two about how one should just let love lead the way.
