The wait is over. House of Cards has finally released how Kevin Spacey’s character is being written out of the show for the final season.

The official House of Cards Twitter posted a teaser trailer for the upcoming last season. This is due release on November 2nd on Netflix. Many fans have wanted to know how Kevin Spacey’s character would be written out following his sexual misconduct allegations.

Kevin Spacey is being forced out of Hollywood

House of Cards and Netflix stated that Spacey would not be appearing in any subsequent seasons and that the next season of the show was to be the last. Kevin faced an onslaught of allegations after Anthony Rapp did an interview last year. He said that Spacey had made sexual advances at him when he was 14 and the actor was 26 years old.

Since then, the London Metropolitan have begun to investigate 6 allegations of misconduct against Spacey. More men have come forwards after Rapp’s initial statement. Kevin’s initial reaction to the allegations was to come out as a gay man. This caused a lot of uproars because it seemed he was making an excuse for his advances on an underage boy.

The new teaser features Robin Wright’s character Claire Underwood talking to the gravestone of Francis Underwood. She is telling him how when she dies it will not be in disgrace, and many people will be grieving for her. This clearly shows the TV shows stance on the allegations.

The marketing for the show has shown a lot of Wright’s character taking over and having ‘her turn’ as President. Kevin Spacey has been well and truly replaced.

Check out how Spacey’s last film only made $126 at the box office!
