WATCH: Better Call Saul Season 5 Teaser Trailer

‘S’all good, man.’

A teaser trailer for Better Call Saul‘s eagerly anticipated and long-awaited fifth season has just been released, alongside the announcement that it is set to return on February 23, 2020:

The prequel to the hit show Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul follows the life of dissatisfied lawyer Jimmy McGill (Bob Odendirk) before he becomes Saul Goodman, dubious criminal-for-hire.

This teaser reveals little about the upcoming season, but what we do know according to AMC is that:

Jimmy finally makes the decision that changes everything — to practice law as “Saul Goodman.” And this decision will soon create unexpected and profound waves of change for everyone in his world.

As the explosive Breaking Bad was terminated after a mere five seasons, due to creator Vince Gilligan’s desire to “to leave fans wanting more”, it is possible that this will be its spin-off’s final season (although star Giancarlo Esposito’s believes that the show will run for six seasons), inevitably leading Jimmy to his total transformation into notorious alter-ego Saul Goodman whom fans love. Or hate.
