Three Pines is Amazon Prime Video‘s upcoming Mystery Crime drama scheduled to hit the screens on 2 December 2022. The series is based on the Chief Inspector Gamache novel series written by Louise Penny, a Canadian author famous for her mystery novels. It stars Alfred Molina, Rossif Sutherland, Elle-Máijá Tailfeather, Tantoo Cardinal, Clare Coulter, Sarah Booth, and Anna Tierney.

Alfred Molina will play the role of Chief Inspector Gamache, and the show’s makers have released a photo of him inspecting a crime scene. The actor was previously seen as Dr. Otto Octavius in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The plot revolves around the life of Chief Inspector Armand Gamache, the main character introduced in Louise Penny’s Still Life. The character is said to hold unfashionable beliefs, and his ideology is that kindness is more powerful than cruelty and that goodness exists, even in the most desperate places. The story moves as he investigates a series of murders in Three Pines, a fictional location in the province of Quebec, unveils long-buried secrets.

The first two episodes are scheduled to be aired on 2 December 2022 on Prime Video in Canada, U.S., UK, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Australia, and Greenland. The following two will be released each week. The show is scheduled to end on 23 December 2022. It is filmed over five weeks in Montreal and rural Quebec, and fans can stream this mystery drama on the Prime Video app for smart TVs, mobile devices, Fire TV sticks, and Apple TVs.

Fans have high expectations from the show as the novels have won many crime-writing awards.
