‘The Crown’ has become one of the UK’s most controversial shows. It has received mixed reviews; while some have found it quite funny, some who support the British Monarchy thought it outrageous.
However, The Crown has eventually become one of the most outstanding British series. The show’s fifth season was released last week, and rumors about the sixth season have, unsurprisingly, already started.
The Crown’s Season 5 Merger To Season 6
The Crown‘s last season is currently the center of attention. The drama originated on the Royal Family is expected to end in Season 6. Peter Morgan, the show’s writer, and creator, always had a clear vision of how it would all end. Although Harry and Meghan’s connection isn’t intended to be revealed, we know we will see part of William and Kate’s bond.
Most of the season will occur in the first decade of the 2000s. Just before Diana, Princess of Wales died suddenly in August 1997, season 5 ended. Considering this, her death will likely occur early in the season, and then Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother will pass away shortly after.
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding may take place. Even if the marriage is not shown, we will see the beginning of their relationship. The length of time Kate waited for William to decide – or was it because of the Queen and what she desired – made the headlines when the two first started dating while attending the University of St. Andrews.

The sixth season is already under production, although the release date has yet to be announced. However, based on the release schedule of the first five seasons, we may predict that The Crown’s sixth season will air in November 2023.
