Great news for ‘Rick and Morty’ fans!
It may have been a long wait but now the co-creator of the popular animated series, Justin Roiland, has confirmed that the fourth season has gone in to production.
‘Adult Swim’ have officially renewed the show with 70 more episodes, expected to be spread across multiple seasons, in the pipeline.
The two men behind the crazy animations, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon are back to doing what they do best although fans are expected to have to wait until 2019 to see what they create.
However the good news is that this time around, we shouldn’t have to wait so long between seasons.
This news has come after the creators have promised to try and reduce the gap between each season as fans had to wait a long 18 months after season 2 finished before they were treated with any more episodes.
As reported on Konbini.com, Justin Roiland told CBR, “We want the episodes to stay good, but we also want to try to turn them around a little quicker.
“Now that we have this big order, I think it gives us the ability to be faster. We’re not going to do these long breaks, these chasms in between seasons any more. We’re going to schedule vacation time and just keep the machine going.”
So it sounds like ‘Rick and Morty’ fans have a lot to look forward to!
