Netflix’s Remake of Oscar-Winning WW1 Movie ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ Gets 2022 Release Date

All Quiet on the Western Front is one of the largest productions to come out of Germany to date. Thus, a lot depends on the success of this remake of the Oscar-winning WW1 movie.

All Quiet on the Western Front is one of the biggest non-English language films of the year and is scheduled for release in October 2022.

BAFTA winner and Emmy nominee Edward Berger directs the film, and his former Washington Post journalist Ian Stokell and producer and actor Lesley Paterson wrote the script. The writing duo had formerly worked on short films such as The Negotiation and The Bike Ride.

Well-recognized cinematographer James Friend joined the production as the director of photography. The film will be produced by Malte Grunert of Amusement Park and Daniel Dreifuss. Actor Daniel Bruhl is also in this project as executive producer and one of the lead actors.
