Netflix Cannabis Range Set To Change Your Viewing Experience!

All brands have been named after their most popular shows!

A Netflix cannabis range is a bold move by the streaming company.

Netflix co-created a set of cannabis stints, each influenced by a different Netflix series. This is part of their campaign to promote their new series, Disjointed, whose plot is based around the substance itself.

Variety reports,

“Each strain was cultivated with the specific shows in mind, designed to complement each title based on their tone,” Variety reports. For example, sillier shows may be more indica dominant, while dramedies will be more sativa dominant to help the more powerful scenes resonate.”

These strains include Orange is the New Black. This show influenced the Poussey Riot strain, for “kicking it with somebody, talking, making mad stupid jokes”. Furthermore, fans of Arrested Development can expect a Banana Stand Kush! Also, an “uplifting sativa hybrid” is perfect for Grace and Frankie.

The hit streaming company partnered with Alternative Herbal Health Services (AHHS) and creative agency, Carrot. Their final produce was on sale at a pop-up shop in West Hollywood last weekend.

This combination of three companies ensured that all legal protocol were followed. (Netflix would be in serious trouble otherwise!) However, whilst the idea was Netflix’s, the packaging and design were Carrot‘s and AHHS handled the drug.

All in all, Netflix was sure to act within the law in every aspect of this unusual promotion scheme.

How about this next brilliant idea?
