Louis Theroux fans are thrilled to hear that he is heading back to the Westboro Baptist Church for a follow-up documentary. This church is known for is radical (even by most church standards) views. Theroux has exposed them already so everyone can’t wait to see what he will find now.

According to timw_brap (sickchirpse.com) his new documentary will have him returning to the church to see if any changes have been made. He writes that “a lot of people are hoping that Theroux will speak to Megan Phelps-Rogers, who left the WBC and totally turned her life around” (timw_brap 1). The hope is that this documentary will air on the BBC soon.

In making this follow-up documentary, Louis Theroux will be able to once again expose this church for their outlandish beliefs. Based on the video clips I’ve seen from the first one, I have very little faith that the people of the church will have changed even a little. The above picture is from October of 2018 so I think its safe to say that they are still sticking with their twisted views. This much hatred and flawed views sickens me to no end. But, I also know that there are plenty of people out in the world that I do not agree with and never will. That is a part of life and something that I can completely accept. But this amount of hatred and backwards, perverse thinking is truly even more extreme than I have been exposed to until now. Love is love, that is what I believe completely. No religious sect can convince me otherwise.

I look forward to Theroux’s new documentary to see what the people of the Westboro Baptist Church have to say for themselves now. Though, I’m pretty sure I already know what they are going to say.
