Zoe Saldaña’s ‘From Scratch’ is going to hit Netflix soon.
‘From Scratch’ is a Netflix original series that is created by Attica Locke and Tembi Locke. It’s based on the bestselling narrative by Tembi Locke titled ‘From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily, and Finding Home. Attica acts as showrunner and executive producer, with Nzingha Stewart, Guy Louthan, and Emily Ferenbach producing for Hello Sunshine, and Cisely Saldana and Mariel Saldana for Cinestar.
Other executive producers are Tembi, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine, Zoe Saldana for Cinestar, Richard Abate, Jermaine Johnson, and Will Rowbotham.
This romantic drama series will hit Netflix on Friday, October. 21st 2022, at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET.

The story of From Scratch includes an African American woman who falls in love with a Sicilian chef while studying abroad in Florence. She goes on to build a future with him in Los Angeles, merging two opposite cultures. When they come across an unexpected cancer diagnosis, Amy serves as her husband’s caregiver. She becomes the person who brings their two very different families together. Thereby creating a new, blended family for her and her daughter after his death.
