Carter is a Netflix original movie directed by Jung Byung-Gil with a screenplay by Jung Byung-Gil himself and Jung Byeong-sik.

It revolves around an agent called Carter. One day, Carter wakes up with no recollections of his past and an unusual device implanted in his ear. Unexpectedly, he’s flung into a hostage rescue process with a woman’s voice helping him through that device. How will Carter achieve his mission with the CIA and a North Korean coup hot on his heels? We’ll have to wait to find that out on August 5th.

Joo Won stars in the role of Carter, the film’s main character. One might recognize Joo Won from his works in the South Korean television series Bridal Mask, Good Doctor, Yong-pal, My Sassy Girl, and Alice.

The series was rated TV-MA. It means that it may not be suitable for ages 17 and under. It was provided this rating because of the language that’s used by the characters, violence, nudity, gore, and smoking.
