Adam Scott, who appeared in four episodes of Boy meets World, discusses how Rider Strong on Pod Meets World knocked him over. Scott played two characters on Boy meets World: Senior and Griff Hawkins. Griff Hawkin’s character was a smooth-talking bully who used his skills and charm to avoid responsibilities and punishments.
Scott describes an unexplainable snub while filming Boy Meets World as a fresh and young actor. Boy Meets World, the next sitcom that helped shape its era and teen culture in general, lasted for seven seasons. The show follows the main character Cory Matthews (Ben Savage), from childhood through adulthood, ending with the departure of Cory from Philadelphia to work in New York. The show created the remake series Girl Meets World, which starred both Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel as the main character’s parents and was broadcast on Disney channel from 2014 to 2017.
He remembers everyone cheering and sharing high fives and hugs when the season 2 finale ended. Scott immediately approached Strong to congratulate him; however, when he went for a hug, Strong pushed him and ran away, feeling weird by Scott. Scott laughs and says it was a ‘horrifying’ and ‘traumatic’ incident that had been troubling him for years.

His recent work on the highly acclaimed Apple TV+ series “Severance” has placed him in the Emmy Award nomination. Scott eventually got some closure over his time on Boy Meets World when the Pod Meets World presenters revealed that no co-actor disliked him. His appearance is a pleasure for previous Boy Meets World fans, who may have forgotten that the actor was featured in the show before his future success.
