We know that the Star Wars franchise has a lot of content and history, which has expanded the universe even further than what it used to be last year. This franchise is showing no signs of slowing down.

The Acolyte is set about a century before the events of The Phantom Menace. That seems like the proper plan for the series because it’s about time fans got a prequel to the prequels.

The series is about a Padawan learner who reunites with her Jedi Master as the two look after a series of crimes that have been committed. According to the Deadline report, it will also take its viewers into several secrets of rising powers in the dark side in the last days of the High Republic.

The Cast of The Acolyte

Many actors have been cast in the series, but we don’t know what roles they will play. The showrunners seem to have taken an ambiguous approach to what will occur, but the cast looks very promising.

Here is the list of all the cast members

Amandla Stenberg
Lee Jung-jae
Manny Jacinto
Dafne Keen
Jodie Turner-Smith
Rebecca Henderson
Charlie Barnett
Dean-Charles Chapman
Carrie-Anne Moss

The series has enough talent attached to it. So it may prove to be another win for Disney+.
