Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of the popular Super-Mario game, has given us a virtual tour of the Nintendo World.

Nintendo has just finished building its new Nintendo world theme park in Universal Studios Japan. The park is due to open on February 4th, 2021, featuring lots of familiar landscapes for fans.

As you walk down the tunnel, led by “Mario’s Dad”, you are transported into a place fans of Super-Mario will know well, Peach’s Castle. The place is also decked out with Renaissance-like photos of different game characters. Miyamoto’s enthusiasm for the place is clear and is definitely contagious.

Miyamoto has also revealed they will have extra additions for visitors, such as power-up wristbands and other features for guests to apply on their visits to the park. You can buy the wristbands in different characters, which will activate hidden secrets around the park; specific to their abilities. It’s a shame it’s all the way in Tokoyo otherwise I think we would all be there!
