You’ve probably forgotten about 36-year-old Milo Yiannopoulos. He said 13-year-old boys are sexually and emotionally mature enough to consent to sex with adults. Ring a bell?
Well, the right-winged troll is back, but now he’s announced he is no longer gay.
In an interview with Lifesite, he claimed to be ‘ex-gay’ and ‘sodomy free.’ He credits conversion therapy with this success.
When I used to kid that I only became gay to torment my mother, I wasn’t entirely joking.
Anyone who’s read me closely over the past decade must surely have seen this coming. I wasn’t shy about dropping hints. In my New York Times-bestselling book ‘Dangerous,’ I heavily hinted I might be ‘coming out’ as straight in the future.
And come out as straight he finally has.
He says he’d like to rebrand conversion therapy to make it marketable to those gay people who want to be straight.
He also said his husband has been “demoted” to housemate:
The guy I live with has been demoted to housemate, which hasn’t been easy for either of us. It helps that I can still just about afford to keep him in Givenchy and a new Porsche every year. Could be worse for him, I guess.
So, if this is legit, good for him. But who knows – the guy has a long history of saying things purely for attention or to stir the pot. Perhaps we’ll never know.
