Ashanti & Keyshia Cole Versus Battle Rumored to Have Pre-Approved Songs

Keyshia Cole and Ashanti Verzuz battle has fans suspecting a vetted song list.

Due to COVID, the much anticipated versus battle between RnB vocalists Ashanti and Keyshia Cole has been postponed.

Ashanti took to Instagram live to announce that she has tested positive for the virus and therefore the verzuz battle had to wait.

Despite the event being a “battle” it is a celebration of the music of two artists. Keyshia Cole showed this went she recently recorded herself singing “Foolish” by Ashanti.

While this shows Keyshia Cole good sportsmenship while Ashanti focuses on her health, fans can’t help but wonder if this is a “fair” battle.

Ever since the anoucement about the battle fans from all over have trying to compare the two.

Some have even gone so far as to circulate the rumor that the verzuz battle had to be vetted so the song choices would be fair.

No one this accusations have been confirmed, but the thought alone can raise some questions about how comparable both artists are.
