A Photographer’s Gallery Of New Wave Punk

The lifestyle you need to know more about.

It takes a particular eye to create a still scene in the same way that Moni Haworth does. She is an LA-based photographer otherwise known as Johnny’s Bird. She mends scenes with still images and documents the true essence of sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll through punk bands and artists.

We’ve all seen images of bands and artists in their elements; the grimy, film types of images that look like they’re from of a sexier version of The Rolling Stone. Looking through Haworth’s lens is like having one’s brain peeled open, and stuffed with a profound nugget of a lifestyle that mostly seems to exist only in books or movies. However, Haworth’s work is so genuine and so authentic, you can almost taste it. Here are some more examples of her work:

If you’re interested in delving more into her awesome aesthetic, you can check out her website or her Instagram page. She covers a lot of underground musicians that she feels the world needs to know about, and they can be found on her website as well.
