Adidas has Announced Their Latest Shoe Collaboration – With Baby Yoda

Buy these trainers you will…

Since The Mandalorian first aired almost a year ago, the character of The Child (whose resemblance to Yoda and cute, tiny appearance gained it the nickname ‘Baby Yoda’) has been a fan obsession. There have been 1000-piece Lego sets and a Baby Yoda meets White Claw tattoo.  The next collaboration is pretty unexpected: Adidas has released a line of trainers inspired by The Mandalorian, many of which are called ‘The Child’.

The colours are on trend with neutrals dominating the shoes, and they certainly seem to have a hint of Star Wars about them, particularly if you take a peek at the insides or the soles of some. Whether or not we can imagine the Mandalorian himself wearing them, that’s another question. But we can certainly imagine the kids’ range being a huge hit!

This is not the first Adidas-Star Wars collaboration – back in 2019 Adidas revealed three packs of Star Wars-themed shoes. The Lightsaber Pack paid tribute to the most classic members of the Star Wars universe such as Luke Skywalker, Mace Windu, Darth Vader and Obi-wan Kenobi.

This is a long way from the Lego Star Wars sets and toy lightsabers of our childhood, but we can certainly get behind these as the most stylish shoes of the galaxy (if not our galaxy).

The prices range from £42.95 to £119.95, and there are shoes available in children and adult sizes. Our personal favourites might be Top Ten The Child Shoes, but we think that might just be because of the amazing image on the bottom…

We can’t wait to see what amazing new items our collective obsession with Baby Yoda spawns!
