The famous film director is to open his new art exhibition at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna.

Born in Texas, Wes Anderson has had an extremely successful career as a film director, working on well-loved films such as Fantastic Mr Fox and Moonrise Kingdom.

But now he wants to step outside the world of film to create his own art exhibition alongside his long-term partner Juman Malouf who in her own right is a successful costume designer, novelist and illustrator.

So far the exhibition is unnamed however it will be displaying an extensive collection of Greco-Roman weapons, antiques, armor, and musical instruments.

It’s sure to be a fantastic display and will also include imperial carriages and sleighs from the Wagenburg museum to add another interesting element and bring everything to life.

If you fancy visiting there is a little time to wait yet as the exhibition is due to open on September 11th, 2018 but there is plenty of time to catch it as it is to run into early 2019.
