It’s hard to believe this is the second to last week of 2021! What a year it has been. The highs, the lows, and everything in between. One year ending and another beginning always make people reflect; what we wanted to do, what we accomplished, and what are our new goals for the new year. Less than a week until Christmas, here’s a heartwarming story: a son finds his dad’s original 1968 Pontiac GTO and restores it for him.

When Austin Van Dyke’s father had to sell his prized GTO to make ends meet back in the 90s, Austin knew he’d have to find a way to get it back for his father someday. After an exhaustive search and several sleepless nights wondering if he’d be able to pull this off, Austin found the car and was able to surprise his dad with it, and what a reaction that was!

When Dad hears the engine rev, that’s everything. He knows that’s his car and he couldn’t be more excited to have it back. The embrace with him and his son is the next best part. After all of the searching and time, a few prayers, and hoping for some luck, Austin found his dad’s car and returned it home to him. Best present ever!
