You Can Now Delete Embarrassing Shows Off Your Netflix History

No more having to explain why The Big Bang Theory is on there!

If you share your Netflix account with a friend or family member, you now have the chance to delete that embarrassing show off your watch history.

We’ve all been there. You want to watch something out of sheer curiosity but are afraid someone will find out. Well, there’s no more need to worry about what you watch on Netflix because you can now hide or even delete shows and movies from appearing in your ‘Continue Watching’ row.

It’s not like there is anything too crazy on Netflix, but many have been talking about 365 DNI and its definitely not something you would want your parents to know you watched. If you have Netflix and don’t want anyone to catch a peek of your watch history, here’s how to delete it:

The Verge says that Netflix has trialed this feature by allowing viewers to click the title of the show and delete it right away. But this feature does not get rid of the history just like that. The title of the desired delete is just pushed down the row of watched shows as you watch more. If you want to get rid of something from your viewing history entirely, you can log into Netflix, go to your account and then to viewing history. From there, you can select a title and ‘hide it from your viewing history.’

=This feature is only available on the Android Netflix app but will be available to iOS apps on June 29th. There is no information as to when this Netflix feature will be available to people who watch on their televisions. Until then, the feature can only be enjoyed by those using Android and iOS devices.
