Chris Morris Film ‘The Day Shall Come’ Trailer Has Come!

This weird and wonderful film hits cinemas this Autumn!

This weird and wonderful film hits cinemas this Autumn!

A brand-new Chris Morris film trailer has dropped, and it looks epic. Albeit a little nonsensical…

Morris has been at the forefront of British Satire with films such as Four Lions and TV such as Brass Eye. Here is the long-awaited trailer for his latest film: The Day Shall Come. Hitting cinemas on October 11th this year!

We see the brilliant Danielle Brooks (OINTB) and Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect, A Simple Favour) bring incredible female talent to the screen. However, the film follows Moses (played by Marchánt Davis). At one point in the trailer Brooks tells Davis how he is being played, while he retorts “what if I’m playing them!” We’re thinking there are going to be a lot of twists and turns in this narrative.

The film is described as:

“Based on 100 true stories, the explosive new film, The Day Shall Come, from Chris Morris is an emotionally gripping, laugh out loud thriller that exposes the dark farce at the heart of the homeland security project: It is harder to catch a real terrorist than it is to manufacture your own?”

We know that Anna Kendrick’s FBI agent character is aiming to turn Moses into a criminal by fuelling his madcap revolutionary dreams, just to look good in front of her boss. But can Davis’ character fight back for what he believes in?

It looks like Chris Morris has a new classic on his hands. This film looks so different and funny, we cannot wait to see it this Autumn!
