Men and women alike, take note. Forget flowers, chocolates or love letters, the real way to apologise to your partner is with a badly spelled chest tattoo.
They say romance is dead.
Jose L. Torres is one man who opted for this, uh, extravagant approach after he cheated on his wife. The details of his misdemeanor aren’t clear, but from the tattoo, it doesn’t sound like he’ll be winning any ‘Husband of the Year’ awards anytime soon.
Incase you can’t read it, because you know it’s just so small, the tattoo reads;
‘I, Jose L. Torres am getting a tattoo voluntarily on January 2, 2019 so that I can earn my wife’s trust back for the pain and suffering I have caused in our marriage. I am a: Liar. Cheater. Manipulator. Deciever. Whore/prostitute lover. Dishonest and disrespectul’.
The spelling mistakes aren’t mine, needless to say. I think they would just rub further salt in the wounds, if I were his wife.
I’m honestly caught somewhere between admiration, because to be fair it can be difficult to admit when you’ve done wrong and most of us suck at apologising, and also disbelief that he really thought this was the way to go about patching things up?
Well, nothing says happy new year and I’m sorry quite like a bad chest tattoo, am I right? I just can’t quite believe he’ll really be walking around with that on his chest forever.
