Louis Theroux wants you to watch Altered States. Here is one of his tactics for accomplishing that goal.
Louis Theroux is a legend right? His work really doesn’t need any introduction or advertising because of the name he has built for himself. But in true Theroux fashion, he has come up with a way to be his charming self and promote his new series.
In this video, he critiques a series of photos of tattoos that people have gotten. The tattoos represent none other than the man himself. It’s quite humorous, actually.
I think my favorite part of the video is when he talks about the pink eye shadow. It’s like a Louis Vuitton pirate version of himself. I can’t really tell if he’s into it or not…I’m going to go with not. But of course, he is too polite to outright say that. The background music was interesting, but I think in a weird way, it kind of supplemented the tattoo judging. Theroux seems just as confused as I’m sure everyone who has seen the tattoos is. That makes the video that much more fun!
