A Job For Gin Drinkers
In my opinion, all the best jobs involve gin in some capacity. Or maybe the worst, it’s up to you really.
Firstly, the wonderful people who made this possible are Bombay Sapphire gin and the Inception group. Apparently, Phileas Fogg’s famous 80 day trip around the world is what inspired this latest venture. The legend inspired the opening of a bar they will name “Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration”.

Secondly, this is the part where you come in. Currently, they’re looking for a gin connoisseur to act as their global ambassador.
That’s right – global. Travel around the world (but maybe not in 80 days) and drink a lot of gin in the meantime.
New York, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Mumbai, and Tokyo… these are the stunning destinations the winning candidate will go to. Furthermore, you’ll have to record the journey and post it to social media, keeping a journal of all your activities. Not to mention, you’re expected to collect botanicals and learn how to make yummy cocktails while visiting establishments.
Although, this is all leading up to the creation of the ‘Around The World’ cocktail for the aforementioned “Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration”. So keep that in mind when you’re travelling!
However, in order to qualify as a candidate for this position, you need a valid passport and enough free time from August to November (2018). Nice.
It mentions payment but doesn’t really divulge too many details on the website, but I’m pretty sure all expenses are paid. Honestly? It sounds kind of amazing. If you’re interested in the offer, check it out here!
