Each new year seems to bring unique new food trends. Thanks to Pringles and Coca-Cola, 2018 has been no different thus far. The two companies recently released some debatably interesting flavors to their product lines.

First up, Pringles. The beloved chip brand just launched Pringles Cola and Pringles Yogurt…hm. The flavors – available only in South Korea for now – sound questionable. Perhaps a soda-flavored chip would be somewhat decent, but according to some early customer reviews, the flavor is not quite on point.

Dairy in a chip doesn’t sound like the most appetizing option either. The yogurt crisp apparently includes sour cream. Maybe it tastes a bit like the classic Pringles’ favorite, sour cream, and onion?

Homeplus (a Korean vendor) sells the chips by the can for just $2.54. The new Pringles can also be bought through eBay at $10 per pack. We might be holding out a little on these two flavors, however, until the company comes out with some more appealing options.

Coca-Cola, on the other hand, is bringing some serious deliciousness to Japan. The soda company recently announced a peach-flavored Coke set to release on January 22, 2018. Launching in sync with Japan’s annual peach festival, Momo no Sekku, the flavor will be available for a limited time.

Lastly, Diet Coke is in the midst of an enormous rebranding campaign. To celebrate, four new flavors are being released in addition to a complete 180 of the company’s packaging design. The new tastes include Feisty Cherry, Zesty Blood Orange, Ginger Lime, and Twisted Mango. Which one do you predict will be your favorite?
