We all know Leonardo DiCaprio has looks that can kill, but do we really think of him as “Manson Murder” worthy? Variety Magazine has confirmed DiCaprio will be starring in Quentin Tarantino’s “Manson Family.” Excitingly enough, this will be Leonardo DiCaprio’s first film since he won an Oscar for his role in the movie The Revenant.

In short, Charles Manson started a cult in the late 60s, and early 70s and he and his loyal disciples, “The Manson Family” killed 35 people in various areas across California, including areas like Beverly Hills, Topanga, Venice, and Sherman Oaks.

The movie is said to revolve not around Charles Manson, but on the murder of Sharon Tate, who was eight and a half months pregnant at the time of the murder. Sharon Tate was shortly married to Roman Polanski and her murder, along with four others who were present in the household, were murdered as part of Manson’s “Helter Skelter” and used the victim’s blood to write on the walls. Before we get too excited, DiCaprio will NOT be playing Charles Manson (even though he could’ve killed the role of playing a deranged killer. No pun intended). Leonardo DiCaprio will be playing an out-of-work actor in the late 1960s in the film.

If Leonardo DiCaprio was not already a good enough reason to run to get a ticket,  Margot Robbie, while it is still being confirmed, will be playing the role of Sharon Tate. There is also talk of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt will have a part in the movie and will have a Pulp Fiction style to it. So when does this exciting movie come out? The movie is set to be released on August 9, 2019, which also marks the 50th anniversary of  Roman Polanski and Sharon Tate’s murders. So, murder, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Margot Robbie? I’ll see you at the movies!
