Twitter user @farthestofhans tweeted at KFC for a year, requesting the return of his favorite menu item, the Hot Devil Drumlets; and his hangry-ness proved, victorious. They’re back.
“Farhan,” who lives in Singapore, never let go of the fact that KFC pulled the drumsticks from their menu in 2014. Years later he starts replying to tweets from KFC’s corporate account on Twitter– with unflagging comments urging them to bring back the Drumlets– but sufficiently enough for KFC to realize… they made a mistake…
Whether Farhan’s year-long persistence was an act of trolling or unremitting dedication, it worked, making KFC re-launch the Drumlets until the end of this August. Farhan will also be the first to reunite with his long-lost meal of choice: KFC is sending him a sixty piece box of the sticks before the re-launch!
