The third Netflix original Christmas movie of 2022 came out on the day of thanksgiving. Justin Hartley has been cast in The Noel Diary, which arrives on the heels of Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet in Falling for Christmas and Aimee Garcia and Freddie Prinze Jr. in Christmas with You.
Based on a novel by Richard Paul Evans, The Noel Diary centers on Jake Turner, a best-selling author who travels back to his hometown during the holiday season to manage the aftermath of his estranged mother’s death.
Some fans are curious about the continuation of this story in a sequel or a potential film series.

As of the release in November 2022, Netflix hasn’t confirmed the continuation of The Noel Diary. The streaming service usually considers the viewership figures within the first month of release to decide the potential sequels.
It’s important to know that The Noel Diary was based on the book of the same name by author Richard Paul Evans. Following the first book, there are three other novels in the series: The Noel Stranger, Noel Street, and The Noel Letters.
With three additional books, Netflix could continue the series beyond The Noel Diary. Whether it’s with Justin Hartley and Barrett Doss or any other actors as new characters, the options are infinite for a new Netflix Christmas movie franchise.

There needs to be a part 2 and maybe 3 the movie was awesome there was two many questions unanswered. The actor were awesome to they made the movie Justin Hartley 5 star.
