Kendrick Lamar stalled the release of his music videos until Black Panther hit the theaters.

Kendrick Lamar has finally released his music videos for the songs on the Black Panther soundtrack. Obviously, he was waiting for the movie to be released before he made the videos public. Lamar was accused of plagiarism for some parts of the “All The Stars” video, which is the lead single on the Black Panther soundtrack. Despite this, the Compton rapper has officially released the video for “King’s Dead.”

On a side note, this track is Jay Rock’s first snippet from his album that is scheduled to be released this year.

Like most tracks on Black Panther:  The Album, “King’s Dead” references the film and the comics. Lamar asked for directive help from one of The Little Homies, Dave Free. Dave also helped with “God Is Gangsta” and “HUMBLE.”

K-Dot, Jay Rock, and Future can be seen in a multitude of positions. In one scene we see them dressed as stockbrokers. In another, they’re hanging around the tops of palm trees. #dangerahead

Like  says, it’s “an explosive visual cocktail to consume without moderation.”

If you’re SUPER into K-Dot, check out the release of “Love.”
