The first movie about the coronavirus pandemic has just released its first shots of the movie, filmed in just 17 days.

Filmmaker Adam Mason has confirmed that the movie is all about a bleak view of the current pandemic, where Covid-23 is rife in the city – a deadly mutation with a 50 percent mortality rate.

US citizens who contract the virus are dragged from their homes and dumped in quarantine camps.

Riverdale’s KJ Apa stars as Nico – a man who has Covid immunity and spends his time delivering supplies around the city.

Eventually, Nico finds Sarah (Sofia Carson), a woman he has never met in person due to strict lockdown rules.

‘It’s a dystopian, scary world, but it’s a romantic movie about two people who want to be together, but they can’t. It’s Romeo and Juliet, but they are separated by her front door and by the virus,’ explained Adam Mason.

Whether this movie is sensitive to the worldwide suffering families have undergone over the past eight months will be up to the viewer. We will see how ‘scamdemics’ will use this film to further undermine efforts to resolve the Covid circumstances.

No release date has yet been provided.
