It’s a sad fact of life that those of us that lived through the 90’s are low key old at this point. However, all of us have had the great pleasure of seeing some of our very favorite things become new phenoms through the power of mobile devices. Think about how amazing it was to wake up to Pokemon Go, or how delightful Wizards Unite has been! Now we get to get ready for Mario Cart Tour!
Mario Kart Tour will release on September the 25th and the buzz is already huge for this release. Apparently, this game was supposed to be released earlier this year, but Nintendo rolled the release date back to this fall. Who knows the exact reason why (I’m sure the execs at Nintendo do, but they don’t tell me) but on the 25th, you can download the game for iOS or Android!
Much like the release of Super Mario Run, this has the potential to introduce an entire new generation to the world of Mario. And much like Super Mario Run, players of Mario Kart Tour will have to unlock much of the games goodies — no one gets to have Bowser Jr right away! Also much like other mobile game, you have to pay for all those neat extras… which, we agree, kind of sucks. Maybe Nintendo should just make us pay $5 up front and be done with it?
