You’ll Soon Be Able to Play ‘Breaking Bad’ the Game on Your Mobile

Time to break into the meth business!

Always wanted to run your own meth business without getting caught up with the law? Now you can!

Though the series ended in 2013, Breaking Bad is still a hot topic amongst the entertainment world. Vince Gilligan, creator of the Breaking Bad series, is now involved in the development of a mobile video game designed around the TV show’s storyline. The game will be called Breaking Bad: Criminal Elements. Players will be able to run their business Heisenberg-style in the game, which has been said to be a fresh take on the original screenplay.

FTX, the developers behind Narcos: Cartel Wars, and Plamee created the game that will be meant for mobile devices. This strategy game will put players in Walter White’s world. You will be able to design your own chemistry lab and meth business in New Mexico. Vince Gilligan said:

We’ve had a great time working with FTX Games. They care as much about the details as our creative team, and I have been very impressed with their commitment to building an authentic extension of the series’ story universeI think this will be a fun experience for fans, to interact with characters from ‘Breaking Bad’ in a completely new way.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the likes of Gus Fring, Saul Goodman, and Mike will make appearances in the game. Walt and Jesse are likely to have made the cut, too. Their role in this mobile video game will be to aid you as you play through the dangerous elements of Albuquerque. No Specifics about gameplay have been released, but we do know the game should be available for both iOS and Android. It will be released later on in the year. I’d say now is a good time to brush up on all seasons of Breaking Bad. You never know when you might need something from the show to help you progress in the game. Good luck meth-preneurs!
