Need a little cash after the holiday? You might be in luck. Apple is willing to pay an easy million if you can hack their systems. Think you got what it takes?

Apple Security Bounty is Apples new initiative for security. Basically, if you can hack their system, and provide an explanation of how you did it, the money is yours.

This initiative is for all of their devices including iPads, Apple laptops and desktops, Apple TV as well as the Apple Watch.

First, you must find a bug in their system, then provide a detailed report of not only the bug, but how you accessed it. Rewards are given on a sliding scale with breaking into an ICloud on the lower end earning you the small sum of $100,000, but a network attack without user interaction will win you the top prize of $1,000,000.

But, Apple with have the final word when it comes to payouts, as the website explains that payments are at the discretion of Apple and must be accompanied with a detailed report. If you aren’t sure what that means, the Apple website gives you plenty of information with details on how to complete a report, maximize your payout, and maximize your profit.

Other security breaches such as a Lock Screen Bypass or Physical Access User Data Extraction will get you $100,000 and $250,000 respectively. A ‘zero-click unauthorized access to sensitive data’ will get you a half a million.
