It hasn’t been just a one time thing either.
You all remember the iconic School of Rock, yes? Innovative. Revolutionary. I would go as far as to say that on the scale of cinematic masterpieces, it’s up there with Shrek 2.
So of course, you’ll remember the character Zack Mooneyham, the guitar wielding child extraordinaire who starred alongside Jack Black in the 2003 film.
Well, the now 27-year old Joey Gaydos, who played Mooneyham, faces multiple charges of theft and shoplifting across Sarasota, Venice and North Port.
And what is it he has been stealing, I hear you ask? Guitars of course.
Yep, Gaydos has reportedly been strolling around, asking shop workers if he can try out certain (very expensive) guitars, and then proceeds to waltz out of the shop with the guitar in hand.
Gaydos was arrested on February 25th and now awaits trial.
I’m a bit bemused by the irony of it all, if I’m honest.
