I spent my New Years Eve with my bonus mom and my siblings. I know, pretty lame for a 21 year old. You know what’s not lame? Spending the last day of the new year with a celebrity. Some lucky folks at a Somerset bar got to hang out with Nicolas Cage on New Years Eve.

You know Nicolas Cage from movies like National Treasure, Face/Off and the upcoming movie The Color Out of Space (which I’m super syked about.) Well, the people of Somerset know him as the celebrity who visited Tramways Social Club on New Years Eve. Also, the celebrity was kind enough to buy everyone a round.

Cage also decided to become a member of the small club, which made both owners and customers very happy.

Rebecca Lawrence from DailyMail shared some quotes from the happy guests.

One patron said, “Happy new year Nicholas Cage, thank you for making a small club happy by your presence. You are now a member of the Tramways.”

Another party goer said, “Incidentally, he was a total legend, cool dude and is now a member.”

I think it’s pretty cool that Nick Cage was down to earth enough to hang out with the average Joe on New Years Eve. I don’t know much about celeb-life but he probably could have been at thousands of other parties. Yet, he chose this one.
