White Castle is Giving Away Free Sliders for National Sliders Day

Yes, it’s a real day.

Given the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in, White Castle has decided to celebrate National Slider Day in a new way.

Last year White Castle celebrated National Slider Day by giving out two free BBQ sliders to anyone who came dressed in western clothes.

Unfortunately, given the coronavirus pandemic, a bandana mask is more than common.

Many companies have found themselves loosening restrictions to help everyone out in the midst of the pandemic, and White Castle have done the same.

This year, all that you had to do to get a free slider was just… turn up. At the drive-thru, all that was necessary was to show a digital coupon. It didn’t work on delivery or online orders, but it was kind of them to provide anything at all.

This isn’t the only thing White Castle have been doing to help.

Previously, they offered free meals for healthcare workers every day in April. Generally, they have an eco-conscious menu, with plant burgers.

To elevate National Slider Day, White Castle put on a virtual dance party to lift the nation’s spirits. The dance party was hosted by DJ duo Dude Skywalker on the group’s social media.

The dance party aimed to raise money for the National Restaurant’s Association’s Restaurant employee Relief Fund. White Castle agreed to match every dollar donated, up to $15k
