There is an up and coming pop up restaurant on its way to Mount Everest.

The restaurant will be situated at the mountain’s base camp. What’s more intriguing however is how much the whole concept will cost to visit.

A staggering $1050 per head! Yes, that is the reported cost of just one meal at this stunning venue.

Forget the meal itself, but travel to and from the base will surely be steep as well (pun intended).

But seriously though, it would surely be worth it. Just imagine hearing all of those incredible places your friends have eaten at during your dinner party. And then bam, you whip out your Everest anecdote out of nowhere!

The restaurant was designed by Tom Aikens, once a top chef at NOMA. NOMA, the best of its kind in the world, may soon lose its prestigious title. Aikens is now running a project named ‘One Star House Party’, which aims to establish 20 pop ups in 20 different countries.

He has made his journey to Everest with successful stops on the way in Bangkok, Beijing and Ho Chi Minh City. He probably knows what he is doing by now, but Everest will certainly be a challenge!
