The Best Street Food In New York…Nigerian!

The vendy awards are back!

Street food is my favourite kind. You get to see the food cooked right there in front of you and then taste the amazing flavours while it is still sizzling hot.

Nigerian food is one however that I have not sampled, although it must be good to not only have been nominated for ‘The Vendy Awards’ but to win it.

God shelter Oluwalogbon and his wife moved to the U.S. in 2001 bringing along their love of food and the passion they had to share it.

After working several restaurant jobs Godshelter started selling food from the back of his car.

It wasn’t long before he started up the DF Nigerian Food Truck and two years on they have gone from strength to strength.

They now provide a mouth-watering menu that can’t be passed up!

Having recently signed a lease on his own restaurant he is over the moon and will soon be able to share his amazing talent with even more of Brooklyn.

If this food looks good you should check it more street food!
