Do you take me to be your lawfully wedded husband? I Avoca – DO!

This year people have been getting fruity in their relationships by using avocados to propose to their loved ones.

Since Food Deco posted with the caption “Tag someone who should propose like this,” social media has gone bananas, or should I say ‘avocados’ with this new craze.

People have been taking pictures of themselves holding the fruit which displays a ring inside. We believe that most of these proposals are stunts due to Food Deco but there have been stories revealed that are true, which involve the unusual food for thought.

This year, on Valentine’s Day, a woman named ‘Taylor Selby witnessed her boyfriend getting down on one knee in the Gili Meno Island in Lombok. He presented her with avocado and opened it up to showcase a beautiful ring.

There’s something quite sweet about this new and unusual way to tie the knot. But make sure you think about your actions before going ahead with this idea. Make sure you will be proposing quite soon when you are carrying it around. You don’t want it to ruin your inside pockets. Maybe place it in material that will keep it apart. Choose a nice, healthy, in-date avocado. There’s nothing worse than asking someone to marry you with a gone-off piece of fruit. And most importantly don’t squash it or damage the ring that’s inside. Make sure the ring is placed securely inside. Imagine opening it up to find the ring is missing. The person you will be proposing to, will think you’re the fruit, and the whole moment would be ruined.

Having said all that, you could just be old-fashioned and give her the ring without the fruit, but why not be adventurous, there’s nothing more romantic than Avocado (The fresh, healthy kind of course)!
