Wetherspoons is now offering wedding packages for those trying to save a few pennies.
No this is not a drill. It’s finally happened. Britain’s favorite budget pub has upped its game.
It will be offering a three-course meal for up to 100 guests, a DJ, and table decorations for just £3000.
(Believe me, if you’ve ever wistfully looked into the price of a wedding, £3000 is a bargain!)
This news comes just in time for Valentine’s Day! So fellas, if you’re planning on popping the question but are worried about the money, you now have no excuse to not put a ring on your partner’s finger!
I mean, there is a slight catch. There always is…
The only Wetherspoons licensed to hold weddings is in London; The Knights Templar. So, you may end up spending more on travel and hotels than on your actual wedding at this rate!
Of course, with the pub chain branching out I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before Wetherspoons’ all over the country are offering wedding packages.
