Hello, Cortana.

Thought you loved Siri and Google Home? Well nothing will ever compare to those technologies after seeing this holographic Cortana appliance.

Cortana is Microsoft’s version of a helpful computer assistant. But Jarem Archer has just done the unthinkable. He has recently developed a holographic version of the technology. And yes, the concept actually involves a mini woman who speaks and moves in front of your very eyes.

According to Archer,

“It’s basically what I imagined Microsoft’s version of Alexa or Google Home would be like if they were to use the holographic artificial intelligence sidekick from the Halo franchise.

It’s all powered by a Windows 10 device with 4GB of RAM and a built-in Arduino used for controlling the platform lights.”

While most of us probably don’t understand the techie lingo behind the concept, holographic Cortana seems like an invention from which we could all benefit.

Archer even used his wife as a model to map out Cortana’s movements on a motion sensor. How cute! Take a look at the video below to see the coolest electronic hologram ever in action.
