One of the reasons The White Lotus has been so successful is that it has an engaging story with talented actors. It’s not surprising that fans eagerly await Season 2, which will air next week!
The first season takes place at the White Lotus, a resort in Hawaii. The show starts as we meet a variety of vacationers who have come there to relax and have fun, but every day brings more turmoil. Drifting family relationships and hidden secrets come to the foreground, and everyone faces new challenges.
Season two will be set in a new location with a new cast, serving as a different type of anthology series. Sicily is an amazing vacation destination, but what mess might some guests get into at the hotel? And when exactly can we see the story play out?
When does White Lotus return with new episodes on HBO?
The second season of White Lotus is set to debut on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO. Episodes will also be available to stream on HBO Max. There will be seven episodes, one more than the inaugural season.
Though it’s an anthology, the new drama will see Jennifer Coolidge and Jon Gries return to their old shows as Tanya McQuoid-Hunt and Greg.
Some new faces appearing in season two are F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Beatrice Grannò, Meghann Fahy, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Haley Lu Richardson, Will Sharpe, Simona Tabasco, and Leo Woodall.
Mike White wrote, directed, and executive produced the project for the third time this year, and David Bernad and Mark Kamine served as executive producers.
