What is The Climb on HBO Max about?
The Climb is a “visually arresting” and “life-changing adventure” that will involve competitors climbing rocks, according to HBO Max. However, this isn’t just regular climbing at a center or gym. Amateur climbers will be taken through a number of mental and physical challenges as they climb at different heights around the world. The physical part of the sport is not the goal. Participants will also explore the human spirit, the streamer shares. And they’ll go through all of this for a $100,000 cash prize and a prAna-sponsored climbing ambassadorship.
In the trailer we see 10 climbers make their journey upwards, Moma’s own passion for the sport, and just how difficult and exciting climbing at these heights is. We can Expect to see the competitors in Wadi Rum in Jordan, among other spots.
